The results are in, and Bryson and his mother have returned to our office. While we were waiting, I called the pediatrician to retrieve any results that weren’t forwarded to our office. The PT was normal, but the PTT was 80, indicating the need to run factor assays, which were run for Bryson. The factor VIIIc level is 112%, and the factor IX level is 2.5%.
