Marc Fischer, MD, is a medical epidemiologist with Division of Vector-Borne Diseases at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Center for Emerging and Zoonotic Infectious Diseases (NCEZID). His activities and research interests include surveillance and epidemiology of arthropod-borne viral diseases, including West Nile, Japanese encephalitis and chikungunya viruses, and development and recommendations for the use of arboviral vaccines.
