According to the latest CDC Vital Signs report, pregnancy-related deaths can occur during pregnancy, at delivery, and even up to a year afterward (post-partum). Every pregnancy-related death is tragic, and 60 percent are preventable. New data take a look at what is happening, the preventability, and point to actions that can help prevent death.
