Collaborating Organizations

Our Laboratory Medicine Best Practices Partners take part in key stages of the evidence review and best-practice identification/dissemination process. Our partners:

• Suggest topics and associated practices that address key quality improvement issues in laboratory medicine
• Advise on sources of published and unpublished evidence concerning the effectiveness of practices selected for review
• Encourage their members to provide unpublished, de-identified quality assurance data to contribute to the evidence base for specified practices
• Suggest expert panelists to evaluate evidence of practice effectiveness
• Help disseminate methods for collecting and evaluating evidence, and LMBP findings
