Elizabeth Burns is a health scientist on the Safety Promotion Team in the Division of Injury Prevention (DIP) at CDC’s Injury Center. She supports research determining the effectiveness of clinical falls prevention.
Ms. Burns received her master of public health degree from Emory University, with a concentration in epidemiology, and her bachelor of science degree in molecular, cell and development biology from the University of California Santa Cruz.
