1. Providing follow-up care: South Carolina trained community paramedics to provide counseling, patient education, and linkages to services during post-overdose follow-up care.
2. Enhancing surveillance: South Carolina increased the number of facilities submitting data to CDC surveillance platforms and built local capacity to improve data quality and analyze and visualize opioid overdose data for action.
