1. Building MAT capacity: Oregon created a regional medication-assisted treatment (MAT) provider network for information-sharing and mentorship between existing and new providers to increase availability of MAT, a treatment for opioid use disorder combining the use of medications with counseling and behavioral therapies, in underserved areas.
2. Equipping first responders: Oregon launched an app-based version of its triage and case management system for first responders to access resources and information about opioid use risk factors in the field.
