1. Strengthening linkages to care: New Jersey deployed harm reduction specialists in statewide programs to strengthen case management and ensure patients are linked to recovery services and treatment.
2. Collaborating with public safety: New Jersey expanded Operation Helping Hand (OHH) to 13 counties. OHH is an innovative collaboration involving law enforcement, county government, and other service agencies to divert individuals with opioid use disorder from the criminal justice system to treatment and recovery services.
