Viral Hepatitis Prevention Coordinators

This page is a resource center for CDC’s funded state, local, and territorial programs that focus on preventing viral hepatitis transmission in adults.

The Viral Hepatitis Prevention Coordinator (VHPC) provides the technical expertise necessary for the management and coordination of activities directed toward prevention of viral hepatitis infections and integration of viral hepatitis prevention services into health care settings and public health programs (e.g., STD, HIV, immunization, correctional health, substance abuse treatment, syringe exchange) that serve adults at risk for viral hepatitis.
