CDC trains disease detectives to provide faster, smarter response to outbreaks. With program engagement in over 70 countries, CDC supports the development of Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETP) around the world. FETP offers three levels of experience-based training – frontline, intermediate, and advanced – depending on the needs of a country's public health system. Potential progression of of training/career path increases from Frontline to Intermediate to Advanced.
