Influenza can be a serious health threat, especially to people who are at high risk of flu complications, like people 65 years and older and those living with certain chronic medical conditions in long-term care (LTC) facilities. As LTC providers and advocates, we want to take all necessary steps to protect residents and staff during influenza season, including ensuring that all health care personnel in a facility are vaccinated against seasonal influenza each year.
