Ending the HIV Epidemic in Action
Ending the HIV Epidemic: A Plan for America (EHE) is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reduce the number of new HIV infections in the United States by 90% by 2030. To begin the scale-up of needed prevention activities in the 57 EHE priority jurisdictions, CDC awarded $109 million for year one of the initiative. As part of this effort, CDC awarded $3 million to seven state and local health departments to scale up quality HIV prevention services in STD clinics.
