  • Don’t mix chemicals.
  • Don’t put chemicals down drains, sewers, or toilets.
  • Don’t burn chemicals.
  • Wash your skin if you get chemicals on it.
  • Take off your clothes and wash them if chemicals get on them.
Call 911 if someone is hurt by chemicals. You can also call the poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
