A Guide to Build Cultural Awareness about American Indians and Alaska Natives

Originally developed by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) in collaboration with communities and representatives from federal agencies (CDC, IHS, and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services), SAMHSA and CDC’s Native Diabetes Wellness Program partnered to make the card available for widespread distribution.
