CDC Surveillance Strategy Innovation Projects
In support of the CDC Surveillance StrategyCdc-pdf
The goal of these projects is to foster and promote innovation through enabling small project experiments to answer challenges in surveillance and informatics where their results have potential positive impact across multiple surveillance systems.
Each year, the Deputy Director for Public Health Science and Surveillance (DDPHSS):
- issues a call to CDC programs for project proposals,
- announces awarded projects, project ideas, and
- shares awarded project results.
The awarded projects and project ideas are posted in the Project Portfolio section. Projects are shared in the form of :
- a project proposal summary,
- a project results summary,
- and/or a presentation at a CHIIC quarterly forum.
The awarded project results are shared to help foster collaboration among public health programs and public health partners.
