Mr. Weekley is the Program Specialist (Workforce Relations) for CDC’s Office of Public Health Preparedness and Response.   Bryan provides day to day advisory services, training, and assistance to OPHPR Leaders in the areas of Employee and Labor Relations and other Workforce Relations matters.

Bryan joined OPHPR in November 2017. Prior to joining the OPHPR team, he held various positions in the field of human resource management with the Department of Defense (Navy, Army, and DoD Education Activity). He has 30 years of Federal Human Resources experience in the areas of staffing and recruitment, compensation and pay administration, workforce planning and restructuring, performance management, labor and employee relations, collective bargaining, conflict resolution, arbitration, and policy development.  He came to CDC from the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Americas, where he served as the Human Resources Officer for more than 16 years.

He began his career as a Human Resources Specialist, Outstanding Scholar intern with the Department of Navy after graduating from the University of Alabama – Birmingham with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management.  He has held senior level Human Resources positions with the Department of Navy, Department of Army and Department of Defense.  He is a recipient of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award and the Army’s Commander Award for Civilian Service.
