Marvin (Bryan) Weekley, BS is Workforce Relations Officer for the Office of Readiness and Response (ORR). In this position, Mr. Weekley provides day-to-day advisory services, strategic guidance, training, and assistance to ORR leaders on a variety of workforce relations matters, including grievances, employee conduct, attendance and leave, performance management, EEO, reasonable accommodations, and alternative dispute resolution.

Prior to joining ORR in 2017, Mr. Weekley held various positions in the field of human resource management with the Department of Defense (i.e., Navy, Army, and DoD Education Activity). Mr Weekley has 30 plus years of federal human resources experience in the areas of staffing and recruitment, compensation and pay administration, workforce planning and restructuring, performance management, labor and employee relations, collective bargaining, conflict resolution, arbitration, and policy development. Mr. Weekley came to CDC from the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) Americas, where he served as human resources officer for more than 16 years.

Mr. Weekley began his career as a human resources specialist, outstanding scholar intern with the Department of Navy after graduating from the University of Alabama – Birmingham with a bachelor’s degree in management. He has held senior level human resources positions with the Department of Navy, the Department of Army, and the Department of Defense. Mr. Weekley is a recipient of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award, the Army’s Commander Award for Civilian Service, and CDC’s EEO Champion award.
