Conditions of Use and Release Agreement for Voluntary Remote Assistance of Privately-Owned
or Non-CDC Computers
In order to obtain remote assistance by CDC ITSO for a privately-owned or non-CDC
computer that is used to access CITGO or CDC resources, you must read, acknowledge,
and accept the terms of this agreement:
- I have initiated a request for technical assistance with remote-access to CITGO
or CDC resources using my privately-owned or non-CDC computer. In order to further
evaluate or assist me with configuration changes, the CDC ITSO technician has recommended
a GoToAssist remote-control session which will allow the technician to temporarily
control my mouse/keyboard and view my screen.
- I acknowledge that there is a possibility that ITSO technician efforts to resolve
my issue by remotely controlling my computer system as I watch may result in damage
to my software configuration and/or any related systems or hardware, including loss
of data.
- I understand that it is my responsibility to protect and preserve my personal data
files by making external copies or taking other appropriate back-up measures.
I acknowledge that I have read this agreement and accept the terms and conditions
of this agreement as set forth above.
