Script [Lacey] I’m ordering lunch. What do you want? [Amber] Hold on. I’m busy. [Lacey] What are you doing? [Amber] I’m making a list for my next gynecologist appointment. [Lacey] A list of what? [Amber] Everything I’ve learned over the years about women’s health. I want to know what’s true and what’s not. [Lacey] What do you mean? [Amber] Well, my whole life, I’ve had a lot of questions, but I’ve been too scared to ask them. So I’ve had to settle for information I got from romance novels, the popular girls’ lunch table, those quizzes in the backs of magazines, and that staticky channel we weren’t allowed to watch growing up. [Lacey] When did you sit at the popular girls’ lunch table? [Amber] I passed by it a few times. Anyway, everything’s all jumbled in my head and I gotta do the right thing and ask the doctor. [Lacey] That’s so grown up of you! [Amber] Here’s what I have so far...Is it true you can get pregnant from slow dancing less than an arm’s length apart? [Lacey] That’s not true. [Amber] Ok. Is it true that some women actually have 3 sets of labia? [Lacey] That’s not true. [Amber] Ok, I gotta get that looked at. Is it true that my period purposely shows up when I’m wearing white pants to spite me? [Lacey] That might be true. Ya know, I’m really proud of you for being proactive about your health. [Amber] I know, right!? The gynecologist used to make me uncomfortable, but now I’m learning and growing! [Lacey] Great. So…pizza? [Amber] No. A woman’s magazine told me I’m much more compatible with chicken nuggets. [Lacey] (Sighs) [Amber] It’s never too late to ask questions about your gynecologic health. But it might be too late for those white pants. [Lacey] It’s definitely too late. [Amber] Yeah, I’m-a throw ‘em out.
