[Amber] I’m trying to familiarize myself with robes. [Lacey] What?…Why!? [Amber] Because! I have a gynecologist appointment tomorrow, and I’m never sure which way the robe is supposed to go. Like, is it like this…Ehhh? Or, is it supposed to go on like this…Uhhh? [Lacey] It feels like you’re over-thinking… [Amber] And it feels like you’re under-helping. You know what?…I’m just not gonna go. [Lacey] Ok, what is this really about? [Amber] I don’t wanna go to the gynecologist! It’s always so awkward! [Lacey] It’s not that bad. [Amber] Yes it is! The doctor’s hands are always icicles. They always ask, “when was your last period?”, and I’m like, “I don’t know, March 37th?” [Lacey] That’s not a date. [Amber] Exactly!…And then they always say that one phrase over and over again… “Scoot down a little more.” “Scoot down a little more.” “Scoot down a little more.” “Could you scoot down a little more?” [Lacey] Look, going to the gynecologist isn’t anyone’s idea of a stress-free afternoon. But you have to go at some point, right? Might as well be tomorrow. [Amber] But what if I say something weird and then the doctor judges me? [Lacey] What could you possibly say that the doctor hasn’t heard before? [Amber] I was going to ask why my vagina changes color with my mood. [Lacey] That’s oddly specific. My point is, she’s your gynecologist. It’s her whole job not to judge you. [Amber] Ok, I’ll go…Now, will you help untangle me? [Lacey] Nooo… [Amber] Hey! [Amber] Your gynecologist is there to help you. But your sister is there to judge you.
