Guide for Measuring Cancer Screening Rates in Health System Clinics
This document [PDF-377KB] provides guidance to grantees of CDC’s National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program (NBCCEDP) and Colorectal Cancer Control Program (CRCCP) for measuring baseline, and thereafter, annual cancer screening rates in participating health system clinics.
An important purpose of the NBCCEDP and CRCCP is to increase breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening rates in partner health system clinics that serve priority populations. Tracking changes in screening rates allows grantees and CDC to demonstrate the impact of the NBCCEDP and CRCCP.
Other organizations may also find this guidance useful for monitoring screening rates effectively.
