AFM Parent Sessions

CDC holds live webcast sessions for parents of children diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis (AFM).  These sessions allow parents to hear updates about the condition from AFM subject matter experts and submit questions to be answered during the session. Please check back for future sessions.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hosted “AFM: What We’re Learning and How We’re Preparing for 2020,” a session for parents of children with acute flaccid myelitis (AFM). CDC experts shared the latest information about AFM, and let parents know what they are doing to prepare for an anticipated outbreak this year.
