Heart Disease Death Rates, Whites Ages 35+

Geographic Patterns: Heart Disease Death Rates for 2018 through 2020 for Whites Aged 35 Years and Older by County. The map shows that concentrations of counties with the highest heart disease death rates – meaning the top quintile – are located primarily in Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kentucky, and Tennessee.  Pockets of high-rate counties also were found in South Carolina, West Virginia, Ohio, Missouri, California, Nevada, Michigan, Texas, and New Mexico.
