VTrckS Connection Newsletter
As of March 4, 32 ExIS awardees have deployed to VTrckS. Of these 32 awardees, 25 upload inventory and order data from their ExIS to VTrckS. Seven awardees will enter orders on behalf of their providers until their ExIS interfaces are complete.
Update! ExIS Order Line Numbers in VTrckS
We recently found that ExIS Order Line Numbers greater than 899,999 cause issues with shipment data. After exploring a number of alternative approaches, we believe that the best way to proceed is to restrict the values for ExIS Order Line Number and we will update the ExIS specification document accordingly.

- Monthly ExIS Calls — to discuss technical questions with all ExIS awardees; scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month at 3:00 p.m. ET. The next ExIS monthly call will be on April 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
- VTrckS ExIS Discussion on Epi-X Forum — to find answers and ask questions related to your ExIS implementation
- VTrckSExIS@cdc.gov — to request an invitation to the monthly ExIS calls or access to the VTrckS ExIS discussion
Upcoming VTrckS Refresher Training!
This summer, once all awardees have deployed to VTrckS, the VTrckS Training team will conduct refresher courses, offering tips and tricks to help you better utilize functionality within VTrckS.
Look for more information about these refresher training courses in the next couple of months as deployment wraps-up.
