VTrckS Connection Newsletter
This column addresses some of the most common awardee issues recently sent to the Contact Center:
Dear VTrckS: How do I indicate that I do not need a label shipped when I’m entering returns into VTrckS?
Dear Savvy Returner: To inform McKesson that they should not send a shipping label for a return, you should choose the last option, which is 25, from the drop-down list in VTrckS for the number of boxes. Choosing this ‘bogus’ value indicates to McKesson that no labels are actually required.
Dear VTrckS: One of my provider contacts says that they can’t place orders in VTrckS. What could the problem be?
Dear Flummoxed: The most likely problems are either that there are duplicate contact IDs in VTrckS, or that the contact is not associated with the correct provider(s).
To check for duplicate contact IDs: In CRM Master Records, select Search, narrow it down to Contact Records only, and then search by the person’s last name. This will give you a quick overview of the associated contact record(s), including contact IDs. If the contact in question has more than one ID, follow the steps in this Training Library Reference Guide to correct the duplicate contact IDs.
To check which provider(s) the contact is associated with: Follow the steps above to search for the person’s contact record, and then click on their name. To be able to order vaccines for a particular provider, the person’s contact record must list that provider in the Provider Address and Communication Data assignment block. A Training Library Business Process Procedure (BPP) shows how to add a contact to a provider’s Master Record.
