VTrckS Update

It has been an exciting and productive first quarter of 2012 with the recent release of VTrckS 2.0, in addition to several waves of grantees commencing their Spend Plan and VTrckS deployment activities. This issue of VTrckS Connection will provide information on VTrckS Release 2.0 functionality, highlights from the recent Program Managers Meeting, deployment activities, an ExIS Update, a Training Update, and a look forward to VTrckS activities planned for April/May.

Grantee Tips for Successful VTrckS Deployment: Complete Activities and Test Access

Tip 1: Complete your Module and Manual activities on time. Those activities prepare you to go live on your specified deployment date. For instance, completing identity proofing activities on time, including submission of the User Access forms, ensures that the necessary users will be able to access the system for training and at the time of go live.

Tip 2: Test your SAMS access as soon as possible. Access SAMS as soon as you Go Live and obtain your grid card. Though you may not have a need to conduct spend plan activities in the system on day one, you still need to test and confirm you are able to access SAMS.
