An average of 74% of public immunization provider sites submitted data to their IIS during the last six months of 2008. Twenty grantees reported that >95% of public provider vaccination sites submitted immunization data to an IIS; 11 reported submission of immunization data by 81%-94% of public provider vaccination sites. These results are based on self reported data from CDC immunization grantees. Qualifier: reported annual fluctuations in public provider participation may be due to programmatic and/or technical changes to the immunization information system. | |
