The TREND statement is a continually-evolving document. We expect this document to be updated as necessary to accomodate research practices from various fields of public health. We invite input from scientists and editors who have experience with public health research involving nonrandomized controlled trials.

In an effort to improve upon the TREND statement, please send us suggestions for clarifying items or examples in the statement, examples of good or poor reporting, or any comments you may have for our consideration.
