Watch Video

Produced in 2003, Scene Smoking is an hour-long closed captioned video documentary that brings together some of Hollywood's most powerful voices in a frank discussion of artists’ rights, social responsibility, and the First Amendment.

This video may be used with high school and college students in a number of different subject areas, including film studies, directing, screenwriting, acting, communications, journalism, public relations, political science, law, public health, and health education.

This film was made possible by funds received from the Tobacco Tax Health Protection Act of 1988, Proposition 99, under grant No. 99-85068 with the California Department of Health Services, Tobacco Control Section.
