Evaluation Toolkit for Smoke-Free Policies

Evaluation Toolkit for
Smoke-Free Policies
Available from the Publications Catalog.
Published in 2008, this toolkit will help community tobacco control programs and coalitions assess the impact of local smoke-free laws.
The evaluation approaches described in this toolkit and the findings of studies conducted using these approaches may also be useful to stakeholders who are interested in the effects of smoke-free laws, including business organizations (e.g., chambers of commerce, restaurant associations) and labor unions.
This toolkit also will help state and local tobacco control programs select the specific studies that are best suited to their needs and resources. It provides general information on how to design and conduct each study.
