• Description of Project
  Awardee will:
  • Develop a state health assessment and state health improvement plan to prepare for accreditation
  • Develop a quality improvement program according to Public Health Accreditation Board standards
  • Develop a quality improvement training curriculum to ensure that staff members have the tools and knowledge necessary to improve work quality
  • Continue to support the use of an agency-wide performance management system through staff development and training

2011 Funding (Year 2)

• Amount of funding: $400,000
• Description of Project
  Awardee will:
  • Enhance ongoing performance management efforts through a culture of continuous quality improvement, fluid adaptation to change, and expanded awareness, and implementation of evidence-based best practices and decision making
  • Provide community health assessments and health improvement planning resources for state and local public health partners
  • Bolster cross-jurisdictional collaboration in Missouri
  • Continue efforts to align strategic planning and performance management at the state and local levels
