Description: Mr. Pieno discussed the elements of the best practices-based management model and how this framework can help connect, optimize, and sustain improvement efforts to drive successful outcomes for your organization. The Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence is used, in one form or another, in many states and in over 87 nations. Mr. Pieno discussed the State Alliance, which states are most active, the tools they have to offer, and the Florida Sterling Council and its tools.
