National Prevention Strategy Released
On June 16, 2011 the National Prevention, Health
Promotion, and Public Health Council, announced the
release of the National Prevention Strategy, a
comprehensive plan that will help increase the number
of Americans who are healthy at every stage of life.
Below is a sample of national health initiatives, strategies, action plans, and guidelines. These are intended to inform, enhance, and guide public health efforts across the United States. The Office for State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support is working to expand this list.
