    Independent panel of non-federal experts in prevention and evidence-based medicine that conducts scientific evidence reviews of a broad range of clinical preventive health care services (such as screening, counseling, and preventive medications) and develops recommendations for primary care clinicians and health systems

  • CDC Resources on Shared Laboratory Services
    Includes An Overview of Legal Considerations in Assessing Multijurisdictional Sharing of Public Health Laboratory Services, a resource for public health laboratory directors and their legal counsel as they explore potential legal issues related to sharing testing services with other jurisdictions. The Overview of Legal Considerations is a companion report to A Practical Guide to Assessing and Planning Implementation of Public Health Laboratory Service Changes.
  • Center for Sharing Public Health Services—Rethinking Boundaries for Better Health
    National initiative of the Kansas Health Institute, with support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, that helps teams of public health officials and policymakers test and refine ways that public health agencies can share resources and work together to improve their performance
  • The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation “Shared Services Learning Community”
    The Center for Sharing Public Health Services, supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, announced grants [PDF-495KB] to 16 teams of health departments to explore how “cross-jurisdictional sharing” might better equip them to fulfill their mission of protecting and promoting the health of the communities they serve.
