  • Convene quality improvement projects across its divisions
  • Engage the community and partners in health assessment use

2011 Funding (Year 2)

• Amount of funding: $249,998
• Description of Project
  Awardee will:
  • Evaluate infrastructure and programs using the newly established  iPEX (Improving Programs and Processes for Efficiency and Excellence) performance management system   
  • Engage in ongoing performance improvement projects using the iPEX performance management system
  • Develop a county health assessment and county health improvement plan
  • Hire an accreditation coordinator dedicated to focusing on the department's accreditation activities
  • Provide evidence-based performance management training to a leadership team, representing multiple divisions across the health department, to help accelerate broad implementation of best practices for accreditation readiness
