  Awardee will:
  • Implement the laboratory information management system across the four states
  • Provide capacity-building opportunities for its public health workforce
  • Complete the community health assessment for one state
  • Establish performance management system reporting to monitor achievement of organizational objectives

2011 Funding (Year 2)

• Description of Project
  Awardee will:
  • Provide cross jurisdictional public health improvement projects in the four states of the Federated States of Micronesia (i.e., Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Yap) to address some of the infrastructure deficiencies relative to Public Health Accreditation Board standards and measures, and to increase efficacy and efficiency of public health services by targeting public health policies and public health workforce and maximizing utilization of information technology
