National Voluntary Accreditation for Public Health Departments

CDC commends the following health departments for achieving national accreditation from the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB). In addition to the recognition that each receives from PHAB, Dr. Tom Frieden, Director of CDC, and Dr. José Montero, Director of CDC’s Office for State, Tribal, Local and Territorial Support, send a congratulatory letter to each accredited health department.
