Specifics for Outbreak 2, Salmonella Pomona, Strain A, 11 ill persons in 8 states. Specifics for Outbreak 3, Salmonella Poona, Strain A, 17 ill persons in 9 states. Specifics for Outbreak 4, Salmonella Sandiego, Strain B, 6 ill persons in 3 states. Specifics for Outbreak 5, Salmonella Pomona, Strain B, 47 ill persons in 18 states. Specifics for Outbreak 3, Salmonella Poona, Strain B, 6 ill persons in 3 states. Outbreak 1 and Outbreak 2 are connected through environmental sampling: Environmental sampling of turtles and turtle tank water from the home of one ill person with Salmonella Sandiego, Strain A yielded two strains: Outbreak 1, Salmonella Sandiego, Strain A, Outbreak 2, Salmonella Pomona, Strain A Outbreak 1 and Outbreak 5 are connected through environmental sampling: Environmental sampling of turtles and turtle tank water from the home of one ill person with Salmonella Sandiego, Strain A yielded one strain: Outbreak 1, Salmonella Newport, Strain A, Outbreak 5, Salmonella Pomona, Strain B Outbreak 5 and Outbreak 6 are connected through environmental sampling: Environmental sampling of turtle tank water from a pet store where a person infected with Salmonella Pomona, Strain B purchased a small turtle yielded: Outbreak 6, Salmonella Poona, Strain B
