Project Design

    The initial field trial evaluted the effects of cotrimoxazole prophylaxis and the Safe Water System on the health of HIV positive adults and their families.

  • Stage 2: National scale social marketing project
    The success of the field project led to support for expansion of the SWS project in Uganda with national-scale distribution and sales of branded WaterGuard with Population Services Interational (PSI). The anticipated launch of the project is mid-2005.
