CDC’s New Chief of Performance and Accountability Unit, Dana Roberts, MA

It is my pleasure to announce the addition of Ms. Dana Roberts, MA, as Chief of the Performance and Accountability Unit in the Office of the Associate Director for Program. Dana will be responsible for guiding the agency's performance measurement efforts and working to ensure that performance data are integrated into program improvement and budget planning.
Prior to joining CDC, Dana was a public health analyst at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), where she served as the agency coordinator for the Government Performance and Results Act (GPRA). Dana's career path has included positions at the Center for Substance Abuse Research, the Justice Research and Statistics Association, the University of Maryland's Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice, and the Urban Institute. Dana earned her Master of Arts degree in criminology from the University of Maryland and her bachelor's degree from Vassar College.
