This self-paced, online tutorial demonstrates a simple, 5-minute strategy that health practitioners can use in their effort to influence patients to stop smoking. The tutorial contains information based on the U.S. Public Health Service Clinical Practice Guidelines and video presentations showing simulated doctor-patient health communication.

Audience
The tutorial is intended for physicians, nurses, dentists, health educators, and other health professionals as well as for students in public health and health care professions.
