This course addresses the role of media in promoting health. Participants learn how to link theories of health behavior change and persuasive communication with communication strategies and practice. Topics include strategic planning, audience segmentation and targeting, message development and design, and message delivery via media.

Audience
The course is intended for public health practitioners at any level of practice.

Duration
