This training provides an overview of the Physical Activity for a Lifetime of Success (PALS) program, which encourages older adults to engage in physical activity. Participants learn about motivational interviewing, best practices for working with older adults, how to inspire physical activity, referral resources, and other topics related to older adults, physical activity, behavior change, and volunteer skills.

Audience
This training is for people interested in working as telephone volunteers to remind older adults to stay physically active.

Duration
