This workshop provides an overview of businesses' need for and benefit from implementing chronic disease prevention programs and policies for their employees. Among the topics are health and disease statistics; cost-benefit of disease prevention programs; which diseases to target; how to conduct simple, yet effective health promotion activities in the workplace; and how to market programs to employees.
