The center is collaborating with the Boston Public Health Commission, the Boston Housing Authority, and the center’s community committee to create a database of health status indicators for Boston public housing residents. Information is being drawn from an augmented Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) survey of public housing residents in Boston. The data includes information about childhood immunizations, adolescent pregnancy, overall and infant deaths, and deaths from heart disease, suicide, homicide, and cancer.
