State Preparedness Fact Sheets
Click on the map below to access fact sheets featuring available data on important preparedness activities occurring from 2009 to 2011 in the 50 states, 4 localities, and 8 insular areas funded by CDC’s Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) cooperative agreement. These data do not represent all preparedness activities occurring in PHEP-funded states and localities.
The fact sheets were published in CDC’s fourth state preparedness report, 2012 State-By-State Report on Laboratory, Emergency Operations Coordination, and Emergency Public Information and Warning Capabilities. The 2012 report is an update to CDC’s 2011 state preparedness report. CDC preparedness reports are an important part of the agency’s overall focus on demonstrating results, driving program improvements, and increasing accountability for the nation’s investment in public health preparedness activities.
