Why I Prepare: It makes sense!

Favorite Disaster Movie: Mansquito

Favorite Non-Perishable Food Item: Peanut Butter

One Item I Would Never Leave Out Of My Disaster Kit: Tabasco Sauce

Holly

Why I Prepare: To minimize my fear and anxiety if a disaster occurs.

Favorite Disaster Movie: Twister

Favorite Non-Perishable Food Item: Fiber One Bars

One Item I Would Never Leave Out Of My Disaster Kit: A hard copy of all important phone numbers.

Cate

Why I Prepare: A power outage can leave you bored and in the dark. After a three day outage, I learned my lesson about having working flashlights, batteries, books, and non-perishable food on hand. You have to be able to take care of yourself in any situation, and not just rely on others.

Favorite Disaster Movie: Jurassic Park. Highlights the importance of being prepared and resourceful in a tropical storm on a dinosaur-infested island.

Favorite Non-Perishable Food Item: SpaghettiO’s

One Item I Would Never Leave Out Of My Disaster Kit: Supplies for my dog – food, water, and health information.
