Accessing Documentation on the New PHIN Website
The PHIN website has undergone a makeover. Updates have been made to both the content and the look and feel of the website. These updates, which are based on feedback from the PHIN community, are designed to make information easier to find and to facilitate communication within the community.
With this makeover, the content of the website has been reviewed and updated to ensure that all of the information is relevant and accurate. As a result, bookmarks or old links may no longer work. In order to facilitate a smooth transition while users become familiar with the new website, we have developed the following guidelines.
Current Documentation
Looking for documentation? PHIN-related documentation that has been reviewed and approved can be found in the
PHIN Library. Documents are organized in categories that reflect the layout of the website. For example, documents for specific applications can be found in the Activities section of the library.
Conversely, information can also be found on the topic-specific pages. For instance, each CDC-developed application or service has a web page where documentation can be found. This information can also be found in the
PHIN Library.
Draft Documentation
Want to review documentation under development? Draft documents are discussed on the
PHIN Collaborative Forum. The new PHIN Website contains links to topic-specific, active discussion forums where documents in development can be found. These discussion forums reflect the topics available on the PHIN Website.
Want to contribute to the development of PHIN-related resources? The discussion forums on the
PHIN Collaborative Forum provide the PHIN Community with an opportunity to discuss current topics related to PHIN and provide input on the content of documentation and the PHIN Website. The website development team is working to ensure that there is a forum available to discuss any needed topic of interest.
Historical Documentation
Having trouble finding something? Upon review of the content of the PHIN Website, it was determined that some of the information provided was out of date or no longer relevant. This documentation has been archived and made available in the
Historic Archive. If you are looking for a specific document and are unable to find it in the
PHIN Library, you may be able to find it in the
Historic Archive. For instance, if you need to review an old implementation guide, previous versions of the implementation guides can be found in the
Historic Archive.
