Join a PHIN Community of Practice
Communities of Practice are open to everyone interested in public health or public health informatics. It's easy to start working with a community, and your level of participation is up to you.
The PHIN Communities of Practice collaborate on www.phconnect.org , an online collaborative space for public health. To join one or more of the PHIN Communities' spaces on phConnect, follow the steps below:
- Sign into your phConnect account. If you do not have one, you can register for free by filling out the two step form located at http://www.phconnect.org/main/authorization/signUp?
- Click the link of the PHIN CoP you wish to join
- Communications and Alerting Community of Practice
- Enterprise Architecture Community of Practice
- InfoLinks Community of Practice (HIEs)
- Laboratory Messaging Community of Practice
- Vocabulary and Messaging Community of Practice
- Click the “Join this Community” link at the top right of the community page.
If you have difficulty completing this process, please send an email to help@phconnect.org describing the problem you are having. You should receive a reply within 2 business days.
