CRA Information Center (CIC)

The CRA Information Center (CIC) provides support to public health users and potential users of the CRA system. The CIC team provides the following services:
  • Handles public health partners’ inquiries and requirements quickly and efficiently;
  • Ensures data output and reporting are beneficial to all levels of public health during an event;
  • Acts as liaison between the public health partners and the CRA application development teams;
  • Works closely with other CDC resources, including the PHIN Help Desk and Secure Data Network, to assist users in accessing and using the CRA application; and,
  • Provides information on upcoming events and initiatives.

The CIC team collaborates with the PHIN Helpdesk, which acts as the first line of contact for receiving requests from CRA users and potential users. The CIC team works directly with partners as subject matter experts on more in-depth CRA questions and issues and assists in operational considerations and exercise planning. The CIC team also acts as an advocate in navigating CDC resources and ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries and requests.
